GEC CAMPUS EVENT

Charity Auction for the Ukraine

Together with the scale-up company NANOO, which we have been privileged to accompany since this year, we auction functional works of art designed by the French-German street artist L.E.T. (Les Enfants Terribles).

The pieces are two newly developed infrared heating panels from NANOO that provide sustainable warmth. The proceeds of the auction will go to the refugee aid of the Düsseldorf association Kin-Top Förderungszentrum e.V.

Even so, those who are not the highest bidders at the auction do not have to leave empty-handed: On site, heating plates can be purchased from NANOO at cost price. L.E.T. has agreed to also design these plates with individual motifs of the buyers’ choice from its repertoire in return for a donation. The donations will also go to Kin-Top’s refugee aid.

Dipl-Ing. Elina Chernova, 2nd chairwoman and managing director of Kin-Top, gave a guest lecture. She comes from the fiercely contested city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine. Her son Mstyslav Chernov is currently reporting from the war as a photojournalist for the Associated Press (AP) news agency, including documenting the heavy attacks on Mariupol.
